Top 10 craft beer pubs in Leeds
"What: Another brunch spot from our friends at D&D, this time taking its inspiration from the rooftop bars of New York. There's always a buzz in East 59th whether you come for cocktails in the evening or to feast on eggs and pancakes during the day. If you're looking for a bottomless brunch, this is a particularly great option as you have to pay just £15 per person for an hour and a half of free-flowing drinks."
"Address: Victoria Gate, 3rd Floor Rooftop, George St, Leeds LS2 7AU. Phone number: 0113 426 5050. Price: From £29 per person"
"It’s one of the city’s most glamourous dining venues thanks to its prestigious location on the top floor of Trinity Leeds. While the sleek and modern interior is certainly inviting, a visit to Angelica wouldn’t be complete without heading onto the wraparound outdoor terrace to take in the panoramic views. A popular cocktail destination, it’s a great venue to kick-start your evening."
"This Trinity Leeds rooftop restaurant boasts panoramic views and sleek interiors. Alongside a variety of fine dining options and an impressive cocktail menu, Angelica transforms into a lively bar when night falls, regularly playing host to club nights, DJ sets and summertime BBQs."
"Steak and chips for £5 is the signature special of this multi-space eatery–a mix of food space, beer hall, gig location and sceney rooftop–where fluffy pals are not just welcomed, but are often rewarded with a starring role on Headrow’s Instagram page. The action happens over four floors, in what was previously a textile mill. Standout features include the beer hall’s collection of four tanks of unpasteurised Pilsner and 60 international beers, plus the upstairs terraces–where you can while away a relaxed evening, and your dog has space for a leg stretch when it needs it (also known as flashing puppy eyes at other people to attract more cuddles)."
"Headrow House isn’t just one of the coolest bars in Leeds city centre – it also puts on an array of club nights. But while they might fly under the radar, they’re worth checking out. You could spend the night partying in their second-floor gig room, or go along to one of their day and night terrace parties up on the roof."
"Headrow House has one of the biggest outdoor terraces in Leeds, set over two floors. It offers stunning views over the rooftops of the city."
"With a range of craft beers from all over the UK, Water Lane Boathouse knows a thing or two about ice-cold summer sips. Perched on the edge of the canal, this gorgeous space is the perfect place to soak up a few rays with a pint in hand."
"The ultimate alfresco spot, Water Lane Boathouse boasts stunning views of Leeds' Canal Wharf, as well as a mouthwatering menu. Take a window seat or perch on one of the outdoor benches to watch the world float by as you chow down."

"Perhaps one of the most underrated pubs in Leeds, Veritas on Great George Street is, and will always be, a great child-friendly place to eat. Families are warmly welcomed and although there’s no specific kids’ menu, the main menu caters well for young stomachs with nachos, burgers, sandwiches and tempting small plates. Floor to ceiling windows at the front make it a perfect spot for people watching, while the partitioned rooms with fireplaces create cosy little dens to fend off the world outside."
"Most pubs have seriously upped their food game in recent years (thank you, smoking ban) and Veritas combines a tempting range of real and craft ales with an imaginative yet reasonably priced menu. For every steak and ale pie there’s a sea bass and crab tagliatelle, and the burgers never disappoint. Where: 43 Great George Street, Leeds (near LGI)"
"Pavement Vaults is yet another one of the best places to eat and drink in York as it serves a hearty selection of both yummy food and alcoholic beverages and is a great place to enjoy a more intimate drink with friends, family or your partner. There’s a small downstairs area with comfortable booths that’s great if you want to be a little more removed from the hustle and bustle of the bar upstairs. 2 Piccadilly, York YO1 9NU"
"I love Starling for their lush coffee, but their food is also pretty great too!. They may be known for their pizzas but they have a pretty expansive brunch menu that runs every day of the week until 2.30pm. So you don’t have to be exclusive to the weekend to get your brunch-kick."
"That’s Starling Independent Beer & Coffee House, to give the joint its full name. When hasn’t there been a better combination than a beer and coffee chaser?"
"145 Briggate, Leeds LS1 6BRBella Italia has offered family-friendly Italian-style dining in the UK since the early ’90s. With the option to filter their online menu for vegan dishes, Bella Italia make it easy to eat out with a crowd."

"Owned and managed by Nick Risidi, Amici is a popular Italian restaurant in the centre of Keighley. Amici, which means “friends” is the perfect name for a place as welcoming as this. Prior to founding Amici, Nick spent many years working in and then managing one of his father’s restaurants in Bradford."
"Visited Amici's restaurant for their Italian night which is £9.95 for a 4 course meal every monday night. The set menu changes every week so we were not sure…”more"
"08/02/2021: Just wanted to say thank you for yet another perfect pizza!. We ordered two pizzas and two tiramisu (for takeaway of course) last Saturday. We didn't have to wait at all to collect and despite a short car journey and a quick warm-up in the oven once we got home the pizzas were absolutely delicious - just as good as they would've been straight out of the oven."
"Four miles west of the city centre, on the banks of the River Aire is this wetland nature reserve. With a lagoon, scrubland, wet grassland and reed beds it's a great place to stroll and spot waterfowl, birds of prey and other nature. Access it via Moss Bridge Road, Rodley, Leeds LS13 1HP."
