20 Best Vegetarian Restaurants in Leeds, United Kingdom
"East 59th brings US-inspired cuisine into the centre of Leeds. The New York City-style bar and grill offers guests a contemporary American dining experience throughout the day, then seamlessly transitions into a sophisticated Manhattan-style rooftop nightspot."
"Look no further than East 59th, a rooftop bar and restaurant channelling New York vibes. Venture up for one of the best bottomless brunches in the city, enjoyed in their chic dining room or out on their gorgeous terrace."
"Not only does Angelica have incredible views of the city, but it also has an enviable selection of gins behind the bar. You can get your ideal G&T made to order with the likes of Death’s Door, Monkey 47 and Tanqueray 10. But if you want something a little more indulgent, take a look at the cocktail menu."
"With a wraparound terrace and panoramic city views, Angelica is a real show-stopper and oh so instagrammable. Relax in a luxurious setting with a cocktail prepared by one of their skilled mixologists. Level 6 Trinity Leeds, 70 Boar Lane, LS1 6HW"
"After a busy day shopping in Leeds Trinity, enjoy lunch, dinner or drinks in the sky at Angelica's rooftop bar, with panoramic views across the city."
"The interior of this popular hipster bar is definitely photogenic, but it’s the roof terrace that is the focus of most Instagram shots. On warm, dry days it’s the perfect place to sit with a drink, admiring the views of the city from above – and when night falls the neon red ‘You Used to Call Me on Your Cell Phone’ sign is the subject of most phone camera lenses."
"Headrow House isn’t just one of the coolest bars in Leeds city centre – it also puts on an array of club nights. But while they might fly under the radar, they’re worth checking out. You could spend the night partying in their second-floor gig room, or go along to one of their day and night terrace parties up on the roof."
"An informal bar-restaurant on the edge of the city centre, The Reliance is a relaxed and friendly environment which delivers delicious modern British dishes, including Yorkshire pork sausages, Erdinger-battered haddock and spatchcocked poussin. With a wide selection of craft beers on offer, an in-house charcuterie and a laid-back decor, The Reliance is a firm favourite for a casual night out, where fresh, homemade food and great drinks are guaranteed."
"On first glance, The Reliance looks like nothing more than a vintage chic bar, but this dine-in pub has no trouble nabbing the title of ‘best restaurant in Leeds’. The decor is comfortable, but minimalist. The service is warm, not ostentatious."
"Home-cured charcuterie boards are what this pub’s most proud of, though you’ll also find soups, sandwiches, snacks and large plates on its menu. The informal pub setting means The Reliance is well-suited to both solo- and group-dining."
"If you’re looking for a good cup of coffee in Leeds then you can’t do much better than Outlaws Yacht Club. With their own unique espresso blend from local coffee brewers North Star, they serve a delicious and reasonably priced coffee menu as well as a great selection of speciality teas. This is a great place for brunch as they have a good selection of sandwiches and meat and cheese boards as well as cakes and brownies."
"Outlaws Yacht Club is a cool, laid-back bar that serves cheap eats all day long. Pop in at lunchtime and you can bag yourself one of their famous Outlaws Grilled Cheese sandwiches. Served on Leeds Coop bread, it comes oozing with Emmental, farmhouse cheddar, brie, red onion and gherkins for just £5.45."
"Address: Harrogate Station, Station Parade, Harrogate HG1 1TE. Many who travel through Harrogate by train will have spent a few hours in the Harrogate Tap. It’s literally part of the rail station and where Leeds train station has a host of national chains like Wetherspoons on offer, they do things differently in Harrogate."
"Credit: David Pickersgill licensed under Creative Commons for commercial use. It will come as little surprise that The Boat in Allerton Bywater sits beside the water, and with a slew of tables on the sizeable grassed area outside, it’s a lovely spot to soak up some rays and watch the River Aire flow by with a beer in hand. You can treat yourself to one of their local ales, a beer from around the world or a wide variety of wines and spirits."
"This Grade I listed Georgian church was nearly lost in the 1950s, but was saved when church officials decided that it was a building of historical and architectural importance. While it’s still a place of worship, Holy Trinity Church is also a lively community space and they put on all manner of events for you to enjoy, including art exhibitions, vintage fairs and live music – the acoustics are fantastic. Holy Trinity Church, Boar Lane, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS1 6HW."
"Whether you’re going for the energy of the open kitchen, or simply to have some great food and drinks, there’s fun for all the family at Gino’s. Spot the historic landmarks from the outside rooftop terrace as the sun sets over Harrogate, while you ponder over the generous menu options. Be quick, this place fills up fast when the sun makes an appearance."
"03/05/2021: We waited over an hour for our meals to arrive. Our steaks were hopelessly overcooked, dried up and looked like leather. Our granddaughter aged 7 asked me where her meatballs were - there were none at all. One star to acknowledge that they replaced the food and only charged for drinks I wish them luck for the future"
