The Best Restaurants in Leeds, Offers and Events
"East 59th’s jungle-like roof terrace is blessed with south-facing views over the city’s skyline, which you can take in at your leisure over dinner, and if the weather doesn’t play, you can cosy up under their heat lamps and parasols to keep warm. From the East Cheeseburger to the Seafood Platter, they have a menu of New York-inspired eats to fill your belly. Fancy something lighter?"
"Look no further than East 59th, a rooftop bar and restaurant channelling New York vibes. Venture up for one of the best bottomless brunches in the city, enjoyed in their chic dining room or out on their gorgeous terrace."
"Trinity Leeds, Albion Street, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS1 5ER. Boasting panoramic views of the city, this sixth-floor D&D-owned restaurant/bar was made for celebrating. Swanky modern interiors go hand-in-hand with a menu full of international favourites spanning brunch to dinner."
"With a wraparound terrace and panoramic city views, Angelica is a real show-stopper and oh so instagrammable. Relax in a luxurious setting with a cocktail prepared by one of their skilled mixologists. Level 6 Trinity Leeds, 70 Boar Lane, LS1 6HW"
"With a wrap around terrace and panoramic city views, Angelica is a real show-stopper. Relax in a luxurious setting with a cocktail prepared by one of their skilled mixologists. What better way to spend a summer’s day?"
"When it comes to alfresco dining and sunshine drinks, the team behind Headrow House, Belgrave, et al, have most definitely raised the bar, quite literally. Their rooftop ‘beer garden’ is one of the go-to destinations when the sun makes an appearance. With a stellar selection of craft beers and cocktails together with 2020’s foodie revelation ‘Spitz Kebabs’ from Ox Club."
"There's a lot worth eating at Headrow House's resident restaurant, Ox Club, but you've not really lived until you've eaten their signature wood-fired steak & chips whilst sampling the wares of the Beer Hall. There's just something about eating possibly the best steak of your life from a takeaway box that feels both dirty and decadent at the same time."
"The first promises long benches, collapsible parasols and overhead heaters, with a toe-tapping soundtrack provided by live DJs. The second is another floor up, with a mix of covered huts and open benches ripe for the picking. This is craft beer heaven, so expect local and global favourites."
"What: It may not have the biggest outdoor area around but legendary Leeds boozer The Reliance does have a few tables out front which can be booked in advance. Food here comes in the form of small international plates such as duck ragu papardelle, mussels, and asparagus with a poached egg. We suggest getting a selection of dishes to share with the whole table while soaking up some rare Leeds sunchine (if you're lucky with the weather that is).Where: 76-78 North Street, LS2 7PN"
"Unsurprisingly, The Reliance are pros at natural wine, mostly due to the expert input of Steve (of Wayward Wines)!. Luckily enough, natural wines go brilliantly with The Reliance’s simple British bistro-style menu, which prizes provenance and quality across the board. And you’re not talking ‘one organic bottle’ on the menu, here - these wines are all unusual, mostly natural, and some imported exclusively for Wayward."
"The Reliance is a comfortable-as-old-slippers bar where you can happily while away an afternoon reading or chatting with a Yorkshire beer or good glass of natural wine in hand. Yet it's also one of Leeds' best... North African in Leeds"
"All Bar One “is a stylish space for spirited people to meet with friends. We’re all about celebrating life and sharing food, drink and experiences together. We’re here from your morning coffee to those Saturday night Espresso Martinis and everything else in between."
"A member of the chic city bar brand established in 1994, All Bar One showcases eclectic European cuisine and an impressive stock of beers and wines. An extensive wine display showcases a wine stock just shy of 70 bottles, while the diverse menu offers…"
"Taking over a building left derelict for decades, The Old Red Bus Station is a multi-functional bar, arts and events space. It’s got a reputation for attracting an eclectic array of DJs and club nights hosted in their top floor room. License 2 Jungle presents a weekly residency of, yeah, you guessed it, jungle tunes, but they also have techno, drum’n’bass and hip-hop nights as they aim to show off the best of the genres not usually given a big platform in the city."
"An 18th-century coaching inn encircled by swathes of greenery on all four sides, The Wellington Inn is a must-visit. It’s 50 minutes from Leeds in the quaint village of Darley and is popular with walkers exploring nearby Nidderdale. You can enjoy a quiet pint in a classic stone pub with vintage tiled floors, an open fireplace and a huge beer garden."
"FireLake Grill House and Cocktail Bar is a stylish restaurant located in Leeds city centre within Radisson Blu hotel. The menu incorporates fresh and local produce wherever possible and draws upon the flavour of the flame; combining the mid-west traditions of open-flame cooking with the art of cocktail creation. 20% off food & drink at FireLake for First Direct Arena customers*"
"Sukothai has formed an empire in Leeds with three restaurants: at Headingly, South Parade and Chapel Allerton. It is the latter, the original restaurant, which is considered a jewel in Leeds’ Thai dining. Often praised for its great atmosphere and fragrant, alluring food, Sukhothai sources its meats and fish locally, although their herbs, exotic vegetables and spices are delivered straight from Thailand on a weekly basis."
"Sukhothai is one of Leeds best Thai restaurants and offers a diverse range of Thai dishes including the likes of Phed Pad Prik Gang. There are three locations in Leeds, which are popular with many fans of Thai cuisine. Their owner, Ban Kaewkraihgot ran a successful restaurant in Bangkok for 8 years and headed a well-known Yorkshire restaurant before opening the first Sukhothai restaurant in Chapel Allerton back in 2002."
"Revolution not only host a great bottomless brunch, but it’s also one of the cheapest you’ll find around, so if you’re on a tighter budget, this is a fab option for you!. For just £20 per person, you get ninety minutes of bottomless fun as well as one brunch dish, which is absolutely amazing value. I mean, how many places will let you have that much fun for so cheap?"
"I really liked this place as it seemed to have a real local feel about it. The staff and owners had a good rapport with lots of the locals who came in for takeaway coffees and pastries and there was a welcoming, happy, laid back atmosphere. Italian inspired (some of the staff are Italian and it almost seemed to be a meeting point for York’s Italian community!) this little gem of a place is open from breakfast until evening and serves simple, tasty, food."
