"Bill’s has a lovely eclectic, home from home, comfortable feel to it. Breakfast includes the ‘Bill’s Brunch’, two fried free range eggs, smoked streaky bacon, Cumberland sausage, roasted plum tomatoes, mushrooms, potato rösti, baked beans, black pudding and toast. Eggs Benedict or Eggs Avocado Florentine."

"Osbornes @ 68 is another breakfast/brunch place that’s situated not too far from my house; it’s just at the bottom of Gillygate. The food here is absolutely wonderful, with friendly staff and quick service; definitely a place to head to on a lunchtime with friends!. I’d recommend: the club sandwich or the spicy chicken and salsa wrap (and a hot chocolate, as always!)."

"Humpit Hummus was never really a place I’d thought of eating at until I was invited to review it last year. I’m so pleased that I did give it a chance though, as it’s one of the best vegan places in York!. The premise of Humpit is almost like a ridiculously healthy kebab; you choose from a selection of dishes including pitas and salad bowls and then add all the fresh ingredients alongside your hummus!"
