"It’s a pity the food they served didn’t match the staffs standards. It was diabolical , utterly tasteless and overpriced swill . 20/05/2021: The service was outstanding, however the main course was cold I sat a watched them left on the side for at least 10 minuets."
"Bella Italia are an Italian restaurant chain that also offer a surprisingly good value cooked breakfast. Choose from items like the Bella Breakfast (Two rashers of bacon, Cumberland pork sausage, tomato, baked beans, toasted ciabatta, with your choice of fried, scrambled or poached eggs), the Bacon and Egg Pancake Stack (Three buttermilk pancakes topped with three rashers of bacon and two fried eggs. Served with syrup), Fruity Pancake Stack (Three buttermilk pancakes topped with sliced bananas, strawberries and creamy mascarpone. Served with syrup) or the Forte Frittata (Eggs, spinach, new potatoes, red peppers, spicy ‘nduja sausage, pepperoni, and green chillies)."
"Bella Italia’s bottomless brunch offer is absolutely amazing, and you can make the most of it from Friday to Sunday for just £27.99 per person, which is great!. For that price you not only get bottomless bubbles, you also get two delicious courses of some of Italy’s finest. How about bruschetta and a lasagne?"
"09/06/2021: We had an amazing lunch at the Bella Italian in York. The food we had was delicious, and brought to us quickly. The waiter, Danish, was attentive and even brought us some discounted drinks!"
"A long standing independent restaurant in York, Delrio’s Restaurant is located adjacent to Micklegate Bar, the Royal entrance to the City of York and just five minutes walk from York train station. It’s very cosy as it’s located in a cellar with some seating located in underground alcoves. There is an outside seating area too."
"15/04/2021: Having dropped in on the off chance, it felt like I were an inconvenience to the lady who greeted me for service. Asking politely for a free table (which a table was free) but she had to run it past what appears to be her friends sat on the next the next table. The “friends” were dismissive, asked it depends if I were eating."
"Recent review: “This little restaurant is most romantic and an ideal dating spot. All the food is cooked freshly to order, meaning there is a slight wait for probably the best Italian I’ve ever eaten. It’s no wonder this place won restaurant of the year in the Hull Daily Mail!"

"Opera was established in 1995 and is a very successful restaurant that offers a venue with a very Italian atmosphere, excellent food and an extensive selection of handmade Italian desserts and delectable ice creams!"
"From grain to glass, see how traditional ale is created at York Brewery. Located just inside the city walls on Toft Green, York Brewery has been handcrafting real ales since 1996. The brewery site was built in the late 16th century, and has seen many uses over its history, but now it is home to a 20-barrel brew plant, with six traditional open top fermenters and five conditioning tanks."
"Housed in a cavernous old warehouse, half the floor space in this craft brewery is occupied by giant brewing tanks while the rest is given over to simple wooden drinking benches and a bar with rotating keg and..."
"Dusk always reminds me somewhat of Evil Eye as it has a quirky and unique vibe to it. I’ve had many a night out that ended with drinks in Dusk and there’s also an elusive magician that often pops in to perform magic tricks right in front of you; it’s even more impressive when you’re quite a few cocktails in!. The cocktails also have the coolest names including the ‘Phil Collins’, ‘Graham Norton’ (a personal favourite of mine) and the ‘Britney Spears’."
"It is a pleasant Sunday afternoon at Quirky Ales and Monkey is starting his afternoon off with a Hip Hop. Is that wise Monkey?"
"What makes it special in York though is the building it is in – The Grand Assembly Rooms. Think the ballroom from Beauty and the Beast and you get the general idea. From the website: ‘Book a table in The Grand Assembly Rooms, built almost 300 years ago in the Palladian style of architecture, and you’ll be eating in a stunning setting beneath chandeliers and surrounded by Corinthian columns."
"Modern Italian restaurant chain serving long, stone-baked pizzas and antipasto on wooden boards and much more. You can eat-in or take-away. Ask Italian, Grand Assembly Rooms, Blake Street, YorkT: 01904637254"
