The Best Cheap Eats in Leeds
"09/06/2021: We always come here when we want the proper Italian experience. The restaurant is always full and has a great buzzy atmosphere,With people laughing and enjoying themselves, it is a happy place. The menu is varied and has a great selection of dishes to choose from.We have a few starters which we all share and may be a pizza , which is made with homemade dough and cooked in a wood burning pizza oven so it has that wonderful smoky taste. Then we have steaks , we have a few and share them with some potatoes which are simply amazing and some sauces. The steaks are chargrilled which is the best way to cook steak in my opinion and they have such a great taste and are so tender and always cooked to perfection. For dessert again we have a selection which we all help ourselves to the Ricotta cheese cake is fantastic and so is the Tiramisu. The service is relaxed and friendly as you would expect from a small Italian restaurant. What makes the place different from other Italian restaurants is that it has a soul and of course Paolo the man himself. He makes the place with his wonderful personality and welcoming attitude , nothing is too much trouble for him.So if you want a great authentic Italian experience with fantastic food, cooked well and great service, this is the place to go. 09/06/2021: The owner Paolo is a rear character. He brings such a fun and warm atmosphere to the restaurant."
"Two things are ‘God’ in chef Paolo Silesu’s rustic Italian restaurant: food and Juventus Football Club. The place is always full of in-the-know foodies and students taking advantage of the reasonably priced menu, but it only adds to the noisy authenticity. Pizzas and pastas make up the bulk of the menu but the regularly changing specials board features Sardinian highlights such as cozze e vongole (mussels and clams cooked in Vernaccia wine with chilli and garlic) or sardines with pesto rosso (pan-seared with onions, rocket and red pesto)."

"As part of the ever popular Capri group, Capri @ The Vine on Leeds road opened its door in 2016 after the success of sister restaurant Capri in Horbury. Upon entry the impressive décor is something that is well worth a visit. Offering 2 outside terraces, function rooms and a dining area that can seat 300 diners, Capri @ The Vine has quite the atmosphere."

Already a thriving pub in the vibrant Leeds City Centre, North Bar arrived in Harrogate back in 2016 and has since developed a sterling reputation as one of the most happening bars in Harrogate. Having been successful in leads for over 20 years, North Bar has developed a winning formula for what makes a great drinking establishment."
"Of course, Scottish craft brew purveyors BrewDog have earned their title as one of Leeds' best spots for a craft brew. With a dazzling array of creations on tap alongside a fridge full of bottles to explore, they're a top choice for refeshing beer and juicy burgers."
