"Having parked right next to the museum gardens, our very first destination in York was the Yorkshire Museum. The Yorkshire museum is set within a ten-acre botanical garden, established in the 1830s by the Yorkshire Philosophical Society. "09/06/2021: Staying at the local campsite we ordered a pizza for takeaway which was hot/fresh and so tasty.. We also visited on a couple of occasions for ice cream which was so delicious…a wide choice .. best combination was lemon sorbet and white chocolate.."
