"Yet another establishment found within Micklegate, Partisan is a trendy and independent coffee shop, which transforms into a restaurant in the evening. The menu’s diverse, and changes every week – as a result, it’s difficult to make a solid recommendation on which dish to choose, however, the principles at Partisan are clear – they value seasonality, allow the ingredients to do the talking and provide a relaxed, indulgent experience for diners. They definitely have a passion for good food, which can be seen in the quality of the dishes and they work with local suppliers and organic produce, just ask which dishes are vegan when ordering and you are sure to enjoy a delicious meal!. The deli offers a choice of sweet and savoury snacks, vegan wines and gifts too, and you can take away food too."

We ended up here after our original breakfast choice for the day appeared to have closed down – and I’m so glad we did!.
