In the evening, you can share small plates – try the pork belly with rosemary fudge and rind popcorn or smoked akee with kimchi and cauliflower."

Pop in for a coffee and sweet treat, relish a freshly prepared salad or sandwich or treat a loved one to a meal from their A La Carte offering. Menu specialities include chargrilled venison, pan roasted chicken breast and twice-cooked pork belly."
"Did you know that Leeds is one of just three cities in the UK with its own ballet and opera companies?. The former is Northern Ballet, a critically acclaimed company that’s widely considered to be one of the best in the world. Led by David Nixon OBE, they offer up unique reinterpretations of classics like Swan Lake alongside new ballets like Casanova, The Little Mermaid and The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas."
"The Northern Ballet is a touring dance company which performs locally, nationally and internationally, with its home in Leeds. They are well-known for transforming popular stories into Dance, such as The Little Mermaid and The Great Gatsby. You should definitely take up the opportunity to watch one of their mesmerising ballets if you have the chance."

"Monk Bretton Priory, circa 1154 (12th century) was built by Adam Fitz Swain. It was built as a daughter house of St Johns Priory for Cluniac Monks, founded by IIbert de Laci close to his base at Pontefract Castle. Cluniacs at Monk Bretton Priory controlled agriculture and natural resources on many sites between Wakefield and Rotherham."
"If they are, then a visit to this 12th-century Cluniac monastery is not to be missed. The outlines of the church, kitchens, and cloister are said to be the clearest example of a Cluniac monastery in Europe. You can also see a fantastically well-preserved drainage system here."
"Multi-tasking is something The Wardrobe does very well, but that may mean that you don’t think of it as a club. With a bar and restaurant upstairs, and a host of gigs lined up throughout the month, you’d be forgiven for overlooking their club nights – but they’re there for all to enjoy. They have the weekly Go Nuts for Donuts every Thursday, while now and again The Wardrobe plays host to Brighton Beach."
"The Wardrobe, now a Leeds institution, has been at the vanguard of the city’s live music scene for well over a decade."
