"Humpit Hummus was never really a place I’d thought of eating at until I was invited to review it last year. I’m so pleased that I did give it a chance though, as it’s one of the best vegan places in York!. The premise of Humpit is almost like a ridiculously healthy kebab; you choose from a selection of dishes including pitas and salad bowls and then add all the fresh ingredients alongside your hummus!"
"Having enjoyed such success in neighbouring Leeds, hummus bar Humpit has brought their falafel and pitta packs to the streets of York. Opened in February 2018, Humpit has already established itself as a firm favourite with the city’s student scene. "Is Mill Hill home to the best Indian food in West Yorkshire?. Bradfordians may take issue with that claim but between the Gujarati snacks at Bundobust(see our Manchester guide) and the Keralan cooking at Tharavadu, this short Leeds street boasts a remarkable density of next-level South Asian food. From ethereally light, crisp stuffed dosas to fragrant fish curries, Tharavadu’s dishes are vivid, elegantly spiced and deliver serious depth of flavour."
"A post shared by Tharavadu (@tharavadu) on May 17, 2017 at 10:39am PDT. Tharavadu loves to shout out that it’s Michelin recommended, but I completely understand, because they wholeheartedly deserve their success. Their menu is blummin' massive and they are not sparing with their vegan options."
