Where to Get the Best Donuts in Leeds
"Humpit Hummus was never really a place I’d thought of eating at until I was invited to review it last year. I’m so pleased that I did give it a chance though, as it’s one of the best vegan places in York!. The premise of Humpit is almost like a ridiculously healthy kebab; you choose from a selection of dishes including pitas and salad bowls and then add all the fresh ingredients alongside your hummus!"
"Head to Church Street to Humpit, the Hummus and Pita Bear where the menu is totally vegan!. Their menu has three items; salad bowls, hummus bowls and loaded pitas. You can choose your ingredients for the salad bowl, and the hummus bowls and loaded pitas come with chickpeas, pickles, olives, falafel and more."
"I usually get the filled pitta which is a good place to start if you're not sure what to order. The staff are lovely, very energetic, and happy to accommodate to your preferences if you do not like specific items. yorkpitasaladstuffedcauliflower"

"Okay, so it’s debatable whether a huge, novelty donut is an essential element of a picnic but when they’re this good (and this fun), why not?. "This 100% vegan street food popup serves up ‘guilty eats with a conscience’. They have a breakfast menu as well as their main menu, and you are in for a treat if you decide to eat here. The gang at Knaves Kitchen are experts in vegan junk food, so every bite you take here will be packed full of flavour."
"A post shared by coffeeandchimneycakes (@coffeeandchimneycakes) on Nov 10, 2016 at 11:15am PST. Specialising in chimney cakes – a sweet pastry specific to Central and Eastern European regions such as Hungary and Romania – this cosy spot isn’t your run of the mill bakery. Their chimney cakes are available in a range of flavours (including vanilla, cinnamon, cocoa and walnut and are served with a choice of ice cream, whipped cream or fresh fruits."
"Wapentake is a café, pub and bakery designed to create a little piece of Yorkshire. Although I think of Wapentake as more of a pub than a café in that they serve up local beers, Yorkshire puddings (and Yorkshire pudding burgers!), and crisp butties, they absolutely function as a café too. They focus on all things local, with coffee from a family-run company in Skipton called Coffee Care, tea from Taylors of Harrogate and all cakes are baked on site."
"If it’s vegan Sunday lunch you want, then it’s vegan Sunday lunch that you’ll get. Wapentake serves up a banging Sunday roast that can be vegan or veggie, and at just £7 you’d be a fool not to try it. Their main thing is brunches though, and they have a really decent selection of veggie and vegan options on their brunch menu."
"This dog-friendly cafe and bar in Kirkgate serves a range of hearty breakfast dishes, including a Yorkshire take on beans on toast with Henderson’s relish, a vegan breakfast hash and breakfast butties. But they had us at Breakfast Yorkshire Puddings - with baked eggs, crispy bacon bits and Henderson’s relish."
