"Many of the reviews for Wen's praise the restaurant's "authentic" dishes which have proved to be a high hit. One man left a glowing review after his first visit. "06/07/2021: We ordered a donner kebab and a chicken kebab, they were very expensive for a takeaway and were the worst kebabs we have had. We also had to wait 10 minutes for them (fast food?).The donner was the saltiest thing I have ever tasted; I only had one fork full and could not continue. The chicken kebab was dried out. Both were served on a weird pancake sort of thing. The garlic sauce was like a thick sour cream. The only thing that stopped me taking them back was the fact that the woman serving was abrupt and scary!"
"Residence 74 is a cool and cosy cafe bar in Cookridge, decked out with exposed brickwork, leafy green plants and attention-grabbing neon signs. It’s the perfect place for a chilled out morning, so grab yourself a wood-fired coffee or a Jeeves & Jericho tea, then sink into their vintage Chesterfield sofa. If you’re staying for a bite to eat, they have all the breakfast classics, from American pancakes to an almighty full English, as well as a delicious selection of hot sandwiches."
"There are so many beers and ciders at The Beer House that I struggled to decide what to order. For the first round, I went for something that I was familiar with, a Strongbow. Later on, I tried another fruity cider called Rekorderlig, which I recommend if you like sugary drinks."
