The Top 11 Most Unusual Restaurants in Leeds
"New kids on the block and another reliably run family business. Wen’s are known for their handmade, pan-fried dumplings and bustling evening service. If you are looking for a personal Chinese dining experience be sure to check out our client Little Yellow Rice Co, for their Peranakan, Chinese-Malay supper club events at Littleyellowriceco.uk"
"Many of the reviews for Wen's praise the restaurant's "authentic" dishes which have proved to be a high hit. One man left a glowing review after his first visit. He said: "Flavour was great throughout; rich and rewarding, but with enough subtleties to keep things delicate - my lamb had a well-judged level of chilli, and was lean and moist."
"This is your chance to try authentic Chinese dishes that rarely make it to these shores. Have you ever tried shredded potatoes covered in glugs of fiery chilli oil?. Or tucked into a whole sea bass stuffed with minced pork and chilli sauce?"
"You really can’t miss Red Chilli if you’ve wandered the streets of Leeds for any number of time. Their prime, city centre location means that they’re often busy. With an enormous selection on offer, there’s something on the menu for all tastes."

"Editor's Note: There's no photo available at the time of writing. Kennedy’s Bar & Restaurant is really the place to be. It stays open until late, with not expensive alcohol, open-mic nights, two-for-one burger on Wednesdays and a special roast on Sundays."
"16/04/2021: I ordered one week and one of my children’s meals was wrong with missing items and I was told to wait 20 min for rest of order to arrive then a week later we tried again waited over 45 mins and the order once again had missing items rang the shop and told once again we will get them out to you but when you have a family and want to eat together this is a disgusting service does no one check orders before they leave shop and then a single can of pop is a sorry and nothing else poor service just fit for people who have been out all night and don’t care what they get or what time they get it and enjoy been treated like crap as long as they paying money. We now have to share food out again and one of us has to get a cold meal waiting for chips disgusting . pizzachickengarliccheesemeat"
"This Grade II-listed cutie isn't just serving up cosy interiors for winter, but also has prime position next to the rather impressive Leeds Minster - a church dating back to the Medieval ages. Head out to their patio for brews from Leeds Brewery and views of this important piece of the city's history."
"Lamb & Flag’s rooftop terraces are one of the more hidden away rooftop bars in Leeds. So if you’re worried about getting a seat, this one might be a better bet than some of the others. This well-loved historic pub is the perfect spot for a craft beer and a Sunday roast."
"The Lamb and Flag is a local hotspot when it comes to drinking outside in Leeds. Not only does the historic pub offer a range of craft brews and an impressive Sunday roast, but it also has a large beer garden and upstairs balcony area."

"Sited at the top of Micklegate a few yards from the city walls this bar from independent Scottish brewing giants Brewdog opened after a protracted court battle with a local trader – much to the relief of their loyal following of fans in the York area. I say fans because Brewdog as a company have so far attracted investment in their crowdfunding equity scheme from over 100,000 loyal drinkers. The multi-roomed bar is huge."
