Get Your Sweet, Sour and Spice On at the Best Chinese Restaurants in Leeds
"Wens is a new addition to Leeds’ dining scene, and they have already made the mark with tourists, locals, even a famous critic. Taking over Hansa’s North street space, Wens specialise in authentic family Chinese cooking. The Dan Dan noodles, dumplings, and Kung Po Chicken are all musts."
"The authenticity of the dishes from Wen’s Restaurant is what keeps the customers coming back. This takeaway has also received praise for its levels of spicing, as there is enough to make the food tasty without one spice overpowering another."
"This is your chance to try authentic Chinese dishes that rarely make it to these shores. Have you ever tried shredded potatoes covered in glugs of fiery chilli oil?. Or tucked into a whole sea bass stuffed with minced pork and chilli sauce?"

"06/06/2021: Really nice tasty food but every time we order a takeaway they miss one dish. If it was a one off we wouldn’t mind but we have ordered over 20 times and every single time they miss a dish. I’m not sure if it’s a way to make more money?"
"Silver Vase is the stand out Chinese takeaway in Chapel Allerton. They don’t reinvent the rulebook, it’s just classic dishes done well. Start with Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings, Prawn Toast or Chicken & Sweetcorn Soup, before you choose from a heaving menu of mains."
"Looking for a place where you get great Chinese food with an equally fair price?. Yan’s express is your place to be!. This restaurant looks normal from the outside, but you can’t let that fool you, because the food is just the opposite - it is delicious, and is served in great quantity."
"A 15-minute walk from the train station, in a former industrial zone where the warehouses are being repurposed as offices and studio spaces, this site is home to the Northern Monk Brewery Co and, on the first floor, a ruggedly handsome tap room. Naturally, Northern Monk’s beers feature prominently (long on flavour, the zesty, citrussy Eternal Session IPA was in great form) but some 20 lines include plenty of space for potent (in all senses of the word) guest beers, most of them also served in thirds. On this visit these included Kernel’s Export Stout, Cromarty Brewing’s fantastic AKA IPA and Magic Rock’s famous, if not notorious, Human Cannonball – dangerously drinkable at 9.2%."
"A stone’s throw from the train station, Northern Monk is a solid choice, even if you’re not based in the city centre. With street food takeovers on rotation, the kitchen’s always got something to nibble on to soak up all those beers. Just beware, the toilets are unisex, so you might have to time your trips to avoid awkward touch-ups in the mirror…"
"The Refectory at Northern Monk Brewery is where we work, rest and play and we welcome you to join us. The tap room features 16 keg lines, 2 cask lines... Marshalls Mill, HolbeckTelephone."
"Sited at the top of Micklegate a few yards from the city walls this bar from independent Scottish brewing giants Brewdog opened after a protracted court battle with a local trader – much to the relief of their loyal following of fans in the York area. I say fans because Brewdog as a company have so far attracted investment in their crowdfunding equity scheme from over 100,000 loyal drinkers. The multi-roomed bar is huge."

"Situated on Greek Street in the heart of Leeds City Centre night time entertainment. Offering hand-crafted cocktails, and home-cooked favourite dishes."
"Bibi’s has been at the forefront of the restaurant scene in Leeds for years. Being founded in 1974 they’re a well-known fine Italian dining restaurant with tonnes of character who’ve stood the test of time. As well as the inviting, Art Deco style exterior, the sophisticated, classy interior their food is fantastic and their Showtime evenings, where they host a regular calendar of music to complement the food is often the talk of the town."
